My love for elephants - fun fact

ohbabyitsnatalie:
Elephants have been known to die of broken hearts if a mate dies. They refuse to eat and will lay down, shedding tears until they starve to death. They refuse all human help.

Scientists are beginning to believe that animals do have emotions and that their feelings may be more intense and unfiltered than our own. Emotion rises from the old brain, the limbic system, which birds and reptiles as well as dogs, humans, and other mammals share. Humans have additional brain structures and symbolic language to process our feelings and a complex array of psychological defense mechanisms that allay or soften the impact of our emotions. We repress, deny, subjugate, dissociate, and use all kinds of conscious and unconscious machinations to separate ourselves from our feelings, but animals have no such recourse, so their emotions are likely to be raw and strong. In fact, this may be one of the reasons we find them so attractive: they wear their hearts on their sleeves, so to speak.

People seem to deny the existence of animal emotions so that they can continue to justify inhumane treatment and exploitation and avoid the fact that our actions have a deep emotional impact on our fellow beings.

Purple Heart for an Intuitive Mind

Here is my second sighting in this series. A for sure sign as to what I was thinking about ;)

Here's the thing, time will definitely tell what this series and where this series will take me. For the most part I'm loving the feeling loving the experience and loving the anxious and joy that comes with this event.

Is serendipity real? This question i would think is raised by a lot of skeptics. I believe in it because it happens to me all the time, however I pay attention to the signs that are presented in front of me that mark my path. I see, I envision, I predict.

Stay tuned for more sightings because I know they haven't stopped yet. <3

Jasmine Green Tea with a lil heart

"While catching up with e-mails this morning I found a heart in my tea"

So, here it is the story of my life. Looking back to all the moments leading up to this one, a series of heart spotting in the most random of places has transformed this phenomenon as a message that needs to be looked out for. A sign where I would think most people would ignore and move about as if it just passes you by. Well, when you have someone like me, superstition plays an important role, however taken with much analysis due to left and right brain thinking. I have had the pleasure to witness hearts galore not only in my life but in others as well. We're talking about splitting a watermelon open and in the middle, to someones surprise, a heart. An avocado piece in salad shaped as a heart, seen on a first date. A puddle shaped as a heart and not to mention my most recent Jasmine Green Tea with a lil heart.

There could be a plenitude of reasons as to why hearts are seen through out life. For every person that sees them, pay attention to the pattern, the thoughts and the lifestyle led at that moment to properly  conduct a valid answer to your sighting. What ever the reason is, at the end of this sign, will definitely be an answer to why and how you've witnessed them. Just keep in mind love is sprinkled and felt, which will inevitably reveal itself.

Of course there have been multiple sightings however naming the few I've seen, I would have to diagnose this as a series of events which will lead into something.

Can't wait. xoxo

Success

I'm at home thinking about the implications of peoples actions. Why is it that giving up is a part of someones vocabulary. Call me old fashion but behind a hard situation is a passion for what was there to begin with.

My next question and thought is about success. How do you become successful or better yet, at what point do you realize you've become successful...

I noticed that balance plays a massive role in keeping the constant consistent. Look at sir Richard Branson who stands behind a chain of different aspects of his Virgin Group.  Watching him on Oprah one day made me realize that the dream is tangible if you overcome the biggest obstacles that stand in your way. A sense of calm settles the mind of genius which is co-dependent of what success really is.

Can we all become successful? Sure. But can we ever be the most successful in the world? Well that's up to your ideas and keeping your thoughts to yourself, I suppose. Unveiling a fantastic idea that has intuitively come up and put forth into life should occur at its peak of perfection. Making sure that the walls to which holsters and protects this gem will not break or be penetrated by a negative energy that will inevitably destroy it. However, once an individual becomes aware of this energy may put the fragile idea in danger of its entirety.

Every human being at one point in their lives ask themselves, "whens it going to be my turn?". This question infests a persons mind at a time in their lives where re-evaluation of where u are and who you've become thus far, is questionable due to your actions. A pondering and upset sense of surrender to your deepest most wants in life; success, romance, a life partner, or better yet children, is the epitimy of ones demise into being a grown up. Can we expect that what is meant to be will happen regardless of the situation? of course it will.

The Fact of The matter - Written 2008

Well, the fact of the matter is as simply put. Why do people feel they need to pry into others relationships? They simply need to feel that they’re fucked up situation is better on some level. The reassurance that for a moment in time, there is somebody else out there who is worse off. SO, leave your problems to yourself and don’t allow other people to take over. Once that happens it’s very easy for the third party to fall into playing devils advocate without even knowing it.

For those of you who think “stupid is as stupid does” (Tom Hanks in Forest Gump), let stupidity roll off your shoulder, seeing as how its just not worth it. Why cause more anguish when bigger issues will inevitably arise. Every relationship is different therefore don’t allow past habits and faults linger on to the next. Keep it fresh, start new!

Ahem, when you’re getting to know someone don’t expect them to be a certain way, expect the unexpected because it WILL surprise you whether you want it to or not. Let it go whatever it is and go with the flow. If you feel the need to express your feelings you shouldn’t feel that you can’t. Open up, take a chance, let yourself experience the beauty of the reason as to why you chose that person in the first place, they must be special. Let it be all about someone else for a change. It’s human nature to want things for yourself only, let’s face it, we live for ourselves, we go to bed for ourselves. At the end of the day if you can’t make yourself happy how the hell can you make someone else happy.
If you think a person is worth it you’ll adjust to the little implications and obstacles that are presented in front if you. So the question is, is it worth it?

We all make mistakes we all fuck up some how. Why work on perfection when you have imperfection to work on, that’s a waste of time, not only for you but the other person. And guess what you’ll NEVER be perfect. I love myself and everything that comes with me. How many people can truly, at the pit of their gut, with their heart and soul say that? Good question huh…

The truth hurts and I've been hurt a lot, well more times than I wanted to but that’s life. If you can’t deal with the honest to goodness, what the fuck are you doing?

The fact of the matter is just be yourself and if you can’t accept someone for who they are, it’s time to re-evaluate what you don’t like about you, because 9 out 10 times you’re talking about yourself.

Tonight

Something weird happened to me tonight. After leaving the movies with my cousins i got that gut wrenching feeling that something didn't feel right. After putting gas in my city golf, eyeing the people at the gas station, paying the man with the disheveled face made me gain a broader perspective of my environment  at that moment. However, I wasn't finished observing yet. While driving on the highway I decided to take the first exit oppose to the second one, seeing as how there were lights and a little too much happening up ahead for the liking of this feeling I was experiencing. As I came to the light to make a left hand turn to go home a fire truck came from behind ironically making a left turn and then an ambulance came from the opposite direction following the truck. At this point i still have yet to figure out what this feeling was.
As my minds racing I can't help but start to go through a list in my head of all the people I love and care about, in hopes to have a psychic moment. Nothing came.
The fact of the matter is, a warning to pay attention to my surroundings, and use a different route to get to where I want to be!

Good Night
